According to an article in the Science section of the New York Times, a study published in The Journal of Reproductive Medicine in 2001 claims to have found that women undergoing in vitro fertilization doubled their chances of becoming pregnant when Christian groups prayed for them.

One wonders if this works in reverse, as well. With Saturday being a "date night," perhaps that's why so many people end up in church praying every Sunday morning.
