I decided to redeem one of my credit card benefits, so I logged in to the company's web site and went through the redemption process. But clicking on the final "Submit" button generated a web error page. This continued to occur when I tried to redeem online three days in a row, and it still seems to be broken now.
So I called the 1-800 number. I was greeted with a message saying that their automated system was down. So I spoke to an operator. She told me that their system was offline, and I should call back later. This problem persisted when I tried to call over a two day period.
Today, three days later, I was finally able to get through and complete my redemption.
The benefit program in question? "Capital One No Hassle Rewards."
