My mother grew up in central southern Minnesota, and
enjoys telling of a town in the area --- which will remain
nameless here.
On the main highway into town was a sign reading
"Welcome to <town name>." Since the other side of the sign
was available for some sentiment for those leaving town, that
side had "Next time you come, come to stay" --- quite an
appropriate message . . . until you noticed that it was at
the cemetery entrance.
