On a Fundamentals of Public Speaking test recently, I was confronted with
the question:
List 5 methods of capturing audience attention (5 points).
After a few moments of thought and finally a "what the hell?" on my part,
I came up with this:

Rhetorical Question
Large Explosions
The interesting bit is that I got full credit for the question. I have a
speech due on Wednesday, so I guess it's time to break out the chemistry set.
