I remember reading on rec.games.mud a few days ago about some person's
idea of object-oriented security that he/she was trying to build into
a new program. The basic concept was that an object could only
communicate with other objects that it was explicitly given references
to. It only occured to me yesterday to wonder how an object actually
gets another object's "handle". Do they advertise in the personals
column?

Or maybe they just go on Studs...
